Students picked a flower to use for a sketch today before discussing plant chemistry.  We observed the real flower by identifying each part and discussing its function.  Students then taped their flower to a poster, and were able to sketch a diagram of it.  Students labeled their diagram and were able to explain each part and its role.  What masterful botanists!
